As the first point of contact for our customers, the Customer Service Representative is critical to Bar Harbor Bank & Trust’s success. Responsibilities
Assist customers in identifying their financial needs and recommend additional products and services.
Recognize and seize opportunities to make referrals for loans, trusts, investments, insurance, and other services offered by the bank.
Gain an understanding of the banking industry and contribute toward meeting branch goals in deposits and loans.
Build trusting relationships with individuals in the communities we serve.
Be an active participant in, and advocate for, community growth and prosperity.
Process transactions for customers in a prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional manner.
Provide exceptional customer service, reach effective resolutions, and follow through with customers for all inquiries.
Qualifications This role focuses on obtaining general banking knowledge and mastering routine transactions, including account opening. An interest and experience in customer service and a working knowledge of Windows are essential. Candidates who enjoy being part of a fast‑paced, team environment will be best matched for this position.
