Warehouse Supervisor (Over Night)
Essential Functions
Lead and manage the warehouse team: Hire, train, coach and provide performance feedback to warehouse personnel, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Ensure warehouse is clean and organized with all products in the correct location, organized and properly stacked, garbage is discarded and overall facility is in good condition.
Oversee day to day warehouse operations: Manage the efficient flow of inventory, including storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
Optimize warehouse workflows: Analyze data and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
Oversee logistics and shipments: Manage delivery team, monitor shipments, and ensure timely deliveries.
Ensure warehouse safety and security: Conduct regular safety inspections, maintain equipment, and enforce safe work practices.
Manage, edit, and author policies and work instructions as needed.
Follow-up on important and urgently needed items to ensure specified delivery dates.
Collaborate and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain smooth operations and resolve issues.
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the companies’ warehousing processes.
Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Generate reports and maintain accurate documentation.
Stay up to date on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Ability to develop and implement new ideas to meet the business plan.
Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations issued by OSHA, EPA, and federal, state and local regulatory agencies, as well as customer specifications.
Requirements
Proven experience in warehouse operations and supervision
Excellent leadership and team building skills
Proven ability to develop and implement effective warehousing strategiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skills

Computer skills in MS Office and ERP systems
