Cooler Pallet Jack Operator
– Bell & Evans
Overview The Pallet Jack Operator is responsible for moving all palletized products to its designated area before shipping to customers. He/she ensures that product is available on the floor to keep production running and communicates with supervisors if a potential slowdown occurs due to unavailability. The operator may also assist in staging and loading of Bell & Evans products for shipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Take orders from supervisor to keep product on the floor for production needs.
Prepare pallets for handling items appropriately and create combo bins.
Perform pre-checks of the pallet jack to ensure proper working order.
Always utilize safe practice habits when operating the pallet jack.
Take a proactive role in ensuring safe, quality products by addressing any safety or quality concerns immediately.
Consume and containerize labels for product to ensure inventory is correct.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required. 6–12 months of previous experience operating a pallet jack preferred.
Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds regularly.
Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
Must possess strong attention to detail.
