Position Summary We are looking for a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local and regional team.
The role involves executing routine maintenance tasks to uphold the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of Walmart Stores, equipment, and fixtures.
Reporting to the General Maintenance Manager, the technician will adhere to maintenance schedules and guidelines, conduct inspections, cleaning, and repairs, and support Store associates with prompt responses to emergency maintenance calls.

Position Requirements
18 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Can lift up to 50 lbs. at a time
Can move up and down ladders frequently
Comfortable working at heights frequently
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Able to work in various temperatures
Hold a valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report
Vocational or Technical certification and 1 year experience, or 2 years total work experience, in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment, food equipment) and hand or power tools.
Use the work order management system to receive and complete reactive repair work orders, supporting Stores and Store associates.
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely.

Individual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, and level of job offer.

Minimum Qualifications
Vocational or Technical certification and 3 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
OR 5 years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related trade
Valid Driver's License
Eligible for a Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
Preferred Qualifications Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical trade program; license in related trade in the city or state where the job is located; intermediate level proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
