$21.00/hr - $40.00/hr
Position Summary Walmart is expanding its workforce and looking for a Senior General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our local, and regional team. Minimum Qualifications
18 years or older
High School Diploma or equivalent
Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR report
Vocational or Technical certification and five years’ experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or a related trade (or seven years’ experience in one of these trades)
One year of experience using intermediate‑level word processing, spreadsheet, email, and presentation software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Can lift up to 75 lbs.
Can move up and down ladders frequently
Comfortable working at heights frequently
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling, food equipment) and hand, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs
Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair work orders to support stores and store associates and document repair activities
Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely
