Patient Services Specialist 3 – Harborview Medical Center Radiology
Work as a Patient Services Specialist 3, supporting radiology services at Harborview Medical Center, a Level I Trauma and verified burn center owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
Work schedule
Full‑time, Days (100% FTE)
Monday to Friday 10:30 am – 7:00 pm

Primary job responsibilities
Schedule patients, focusing on safety and reducing medical errors
Participate in process improvement projects
Audit online tickets and scheduling appointments for accuracy of order placement, referral completion, and resource selection
Act as a subject expert for the department scheduling model; think critically and troubleshoot Epic errors for the team
Assist with training new staff and serve as a go‑to resource for the team
Support the lead in day‑to‑day operational goals
Respond to patient needs and concerns, maintaining a Patient First mentality
Requirements
High‑school graduation or equivalent
Two years experience as a Patient Services Specialist 2, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Compensation and benefits
Pay range: $44,100.00 – $63,024.00 annual
Full‑time (100% FTE) – regular position, first shift
Union: WFSE HMC
