Job Title: Air Export Coordinator

Location: Seattle, WA

Salary: $60,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

of a leading global freight forwarder in the Seattle area. As a key contributor to the air export team, you’ll manage international shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, and keep freight moving efficiently across global markets.

ambitious, detail‑driven air export professionals

Key Responsibilities

Manage the full air export process from booking to final delivery, ensuring accurate documentation and on‑time shipment handling.

Prepare and review export paperwork, including HAWB/MAWB, commercial invoices, packing lists, manifests, and other regulatory forms.

Coordinate with airlines, warehouses, truckers, customs brokers, and international offices/agents.

Ensure compliance with TSA, IATA, and U.S. export regulations, including cargo security requirements.

Track and trace shipments, issue pre‑alerts, and provide proactive updates to customers and internal teams.

Respond to rate requests, support pricing activities, and assist with billing accuracy and invoice preparation.

Maintain accurate data entry within the TMS and support continuous improvement in operational processes.

Requirements

Previous experience in air export operations within a freight forwarding or global logistics environment.

Strong knowledge of export documentation, U.S. Customs requirements, Incoterms, TSA/IATA regulations, and cargo security procedures.

Excellent organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask and problem‑solve under deadlines.

Proficiency in TMS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Team‑oriented mindset with a customer‑service focus.
