Salary: $132,100 - $301,600
Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Staff/Manager to join our accounting team. This role is essential for ensuring compliance with tax regulations while providing exceptional service to our clients. The successful candidate will assist in the preparation and review of tax returns, offering strategic advice to optimize tax positions.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Conduct research on tax issues to ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to minimize tax liabilities.
Assist in the training and development of junior staff members in tax-related matters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and trends.
Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their tax situations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and public accounting.
Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
