What You’ll Get to Do
We are seeking a CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. This role offers the opportunity to train directly with senior CNC programmers, learning a mix of hands‑on machine operations and programming software. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating CNC programs, maintaining tooling inventory, and ensuring the efficient operation of machinery on the production floor.
Job Responsibilities
Train directly with senior CNC programmers, including a mix of hands‑on machine and programming software training.
Create all programs for each product line in manufacturing.
Assign orders to operators based on weekly production schedule & capacity.
Monitor tooling inventory for all CNC machinery and maintain a sufficient supply to keep up with production needs.
Create efficient and defect‑free CNC programs using fabrication drawings specifically for CNC machines.
Update Fabrication Supervisor and follow production floor scheduling.
Catalog/organize all programs/set‑up sheets on the main server.
Assign program numbers and record on traveler and set‑up sheet.
Document actions by completing production and quality paperwork.
Maintain specifications by observing drilling, milling, and cutting; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; adjusting and reprogramming controls; adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
Assist shop employees in machine operation, PM and troubleshoot on shop floor.
Operate computer‑aided design (CAD) system ELU CAD.
Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Qualifications
1–2 years of related experience.
Good computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment; ability to learn and adapt to computer programs.
Knowledge of reading and interpreting fabrication drawings.
Organized, self‑starter with ability to handle numerous projects, multitask and prioritize workload with minimal supervision.
Working knowledge of CNC programming.
Ability to read, write and fully understand machine “G” code a plus.
Pay Range $20.19 – $25 USD
