Warehouse Supervisor

to join a client in Fort Worth. This is a full-time, direct hire position.

Base pay range $55,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities. The position ensures that warehouse processes are executed efficiently, accurately, and safely while meeting organizational goals and customer expectations. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead and develop a team of warehouse staff, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Job Duties:

Supervise, coach, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring clear communication of daily tasks and alignment with productivity goals. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.

Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels by overseeing regular cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and proper stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO). Investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies.

Manage day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, order picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Enforce workplace safety standards, conduct regular inspections to identify hazards, and ensure proper handling of materials and equipment. Promote a culture of safety among all staff.

Identify inefficiencies in warehouse workflows and implement improvement strategies to optimize operations, reduce errors, and increase efficiency.

Monitor key warehouse metrics (e.g., order accuracy, inventory turnover, shipping performance) and prepare reports to evaluate operations and recommend enhancements.

Ensure proper use, maintenance, and safety of warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners. Manage inventory of consumables, such as packing materials, to avoid disruptions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred

Minimum 4+ years in a warehouse or logistics environment with 2 years minimum in a leadership role.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience is a plus) and familiarity with inventory management tools.

Forklift certification is preferred, and OSHA certification is a plus.

Leadership and team-building abilities.

Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.

Expertise in warehouse management and inventory control best practices.

Proficiency in using WMS or ERP systems and MS Office tools.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Ability to adapt and problem solve in a fast‑paced environment.
