Housekeeping Dispatcher Salary: $12.50–$13.25 per hour

A Day in the Life

Schedule work activities of Guest Room Attendants, Hotel Housemen, and other housekeeping support personnel to maintain consistent staffing levels.

Communicate via radio dispatch to staff for special service requests, emergencies, etc.; assign duties in coordination with the Housekeeping Manager and Shift Supervisors.

Dispatch QA inspectors to required room/area inspections daily.

Receive facility‑related work order requests and dispatch to facilities maintenance team.

Receive cleaning‑related work orders (e.g., spill/extraction requests) and dispatch specialty projects/heavy‑duty cleaning personnel.

Close out work orders upon completion and inspect for quality control.

Customer service: respond promptly to guest requests and special requests.

Team work: treat people with respect, uphold organizational values, assist with preventative cleaning programs.

Quality: demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, and maintain cleanliness of storage areas.

Dependability: consistently reliable, punctual, available on holidays and weekends.

Compliance: report lost and found items, maintenance issues, “Do not Disturb” and “Refuse Services” to supervisor.

Qualifications

Good command of English (bi‑lingual is a plus).

Knowledge of hotel services.

Professional image and confident, leadership skills.

Attention to detail, organizational, prioritization, and follow‑up skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and security.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Experience in housekeeping dispatch/scheduler/administrator or similar role.

Excellent organizational and team management skills.
