Key Responsibilities
Oversee a team of Food Safety and Quality Assurance Technicians.
Ensure all food safety and quality standards are met throughout catering operations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address risks.
Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive food safety programs and training.
Maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Address customer concerns related to food safety and quality.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure operations fully adhere to Food Defense plan and plant security is never compromised.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements from US FDA, USDA, and state/local authorities.
Implement and maintain robust food safety, halal, and QMS training programs.
Work with QA Manager to develop, implement, and maintain HACCP programs, including training, document control, and auditing.
Host external audits and work with Ops team to implement corrective actions.
Lead customer complaint resolution, conduct investigations, root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions.
Conduct internal audits of processes, ensuring recipe and specification adherence and SOP compliance.
Manage internal and supplier nonconformance, monitor cooler and freezer temperatures, and conduct mock recalls.
Calibrate thermometers, weigh scales, and monitor sanitizer concentrations.
Lead HACCP team meetings, maintain member qualifications, develop risk assessments, and mitigate plans.
Conduct ongoing training sessions on hygiene, cGMP, FDA recall, and foreign matter risk.
Maintain CCPs, CPs, SOPs, training, calibration, audits, and required records.
Drive improved processes and conduct special projects as guided by QA Manager.
Achieve and maintain weekly QA KPI and report to QA Manager.
Implement all corrective and preventive actions.
Perform microbiological testing on ingredients and finished products as required.
Adhere to environmental monitoring programs and take corrective actions based on lab results.
Nonessential Functions
Other duties as assigned.
You Have Education Bachelor’s Degree in food science or biology preferred.
Qualifications
2‑3 years of experience in the food industry.
Food production knowledge; FSMA and GFSI scheme knowledge a plus.
Computer literacy.
Prior experience with HACCP requirements.
Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
Good communication skills.
Intellectual/Social Demands Multi‑tasking under time limits; constant attention to detail and precision; punctuality and discipline.
Physical Demands Require standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
Work Environment Indoor; noise ranges from minimal to loud.
