Inbound Logistics Coordinator
We are seeking an Inbound Logistics Coordinator to manage our import supply chain. You will be the primary controller of goods flowing into the company, responsible for managing freight forwarders, overseeing customs clearance, and ensuring strict compliance with international trade regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Freight Forwarding Management:
Coordinate end-to-end inbound shipments (Air, Ocean, Truck) from global vendors. Manage bookings, track transit milestones, and audit freight invoices for accuracy.
Customs & Compliance:
Act as the main point of contact for
customs brokers . Proactively resolve clearance holds and ensure all import documentation is accurate to prevent demurrage.
HS Codes & Classification:
Responsible for the correct assignment of
International HS Codes
for raw materials and components to ensure compliant duty rates.
Incoterms & Documentation:
Enforce correct
Incoterms
(e.g., FOB, EXW, DAP, DDP) on purchase orders. Validate commercial invoices and packing lists to ensure they meet import standards.
Receiving Coordination:
Provide accurate arrival schedules to the warehouse team and handle all Overage, Shortage, and Damage (OS&D) claims with carriers.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management, or related fields preferred.
Language:
Fluency in
Mandarin and English
is required.
Experience:
3+ years in inbound logistics, with strong experience working with freight forwarders and trucking providers.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in
SAP
and Excel.
Key Attributes
Meticulous:
detail‑oriented regarding documentation and compliance codes.
Proactive:
anticipates shipping delays and solves them before they impact production.
Organized:
capable of tracking multiple international shipments simultaneously.
