Taft is seeking a Receptionist/Conference Center Coordinator to join our team in our Washington, D.C. office. All Taft employees operate under a “Client First” philosophy—in all things, we seek to provide exceptional services to our clients.

Essential Duties

Professionally answer and direct all incoming calls

Back up Atlanta reception for phones

Assist and greet internal/external clients in a professional and hospitable manner

Assist legal assistants and/or attorneys with production of legal documents and administrative tasks

Coordinate and process incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries, and route within the office

Responsible for general up-keep of reception and hospitality area

Maintain conference room scheduler

Coordinate meetings (e.g., catering arrangements, audio‑visual set‑up, and/or conference call scheduling)

Assist with conference room set up and breakdown

Assist legal assistants with attorney time entry and billing

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of law firm experience

Strong organizational skills

Ability to multi‑task

Must be detail oriented

Strong work ethic

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office programs

Experience with Filesite, iManage a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Professional appearance and punctuality

Taft offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, long‑term disability, flexible spending, 401K, Paid Time Off, paid holidays, bonus, and more. The salary range for this position is $50,000/yr. – $67,000/yr. Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted information based on work experience, education, and/or skill level.
