Responsibilities
Provide assistance to end users, business users and functional personnel with varied technical issues.
Anticipate, plan and coordinate tasks with SAP and SAP ECS.
Communicate with business users, technical users and the user community about planned and unplanned activities.
Represent the SAP Basis team in projects that may include SAP release upgrades, SP updates, HANA DB release updates and integrations with SAP.
Support day‑to‑day business operations with respect to planned and ad‑hoc SAP Basis‑related events and issues.
Support an SAP environment that includes SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BW/4 HANA, SAP Solution Manager, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Connector and other SAP systems.
Manage and configure Solution Manager and ChaRM as needed.
Provide analysis and apply SAP notes as required.
Manage SAP Service Requests and SAP Cases along with SAP ECS.
Coordinate patching of OS/DB instances, kernel patching and other patching and configuration activities with SAP ECS.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
At least 5 years of SAP Basis experience.
Experience analyzing and troubleshooting technical issues.
Experience working with SAP NetWeaver‑based systems, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BW/4 HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP, SAP HANA DB.
Prior experience planning, installing and configuring SAP systems, databases, operating systems.
Team player, motivated and well‑intentioned.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication (verbal/written) and teamwork abilities.
Willing to stay up‑to‑date with new technologies required to support our critical business functions.
SAP‑certified candidates are preferred.
