Responsibilities
Provide assistance to end users, business users and functional personnel with varied technical issues related to SAP.
Anticipate, plan and coordinate tasks with SAP and SAP ECS.
Communicate planned and unplanned activities to business users, technical users and the wider user community.
Represent the SAP Basis team on projects involving SAP release upgrades, SP updates, HANA database release updates and critical integrations.
Support day‑to‑day business operations with planned and ad‑hoc SAP Basis events and issues.
Support an environment that includes SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BW/4 HANA, SAP Solution Manager, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Connector and other SAP systems.
Manage and configure Solution Manager and ChaRM as needed.
Provide analysis and apply SAP notes as required.
Manage SAP Service Requests and SAP Cases along with SAP ECS.
Coordinate patching of OS/DB instances, kernel patching and other configuration activities with SAP ECS as required.
Manage and coordinate SAP top issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT such as Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of SAP Basis experience.
Experience analyzing and troubleshooting technical issues.
Experience with SAP NetWeaver‑based systems, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP S/4 HANA, SAP BW/4 HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BTP and SAP HANA DB.
Prior experience planning, installing and configuring SAP systems, databases and operating systems.
Team player, motivated and well‑intentioned.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication (verbal/written) and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to stay up‑to‑date with new technologies required to support critical business functions.
SAP‑certified candidates are preferred.
