NOVA Engineering & Environmental is seeking a Senior Environmental Consultantfor their corporate headquarters in Kennesaw, GA office. The right candidate will have 10+ years of consulting experience on due diligence projects. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
Duties:
Senior Reviewer for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) and Phase II Remediation Activities
Indoor Air Quality Consulting activities (mold, asbestos, lead-based paint)
Underground storage tank removals
Cross-train with Geotechnical Engineering and Building Envelope/Facilities service lines
Mentor junior staff and review reports
Requirements:
Degree: Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, or Environmental Science
8+ years’ experience with due diligence projects (Phase I, II)
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) is required
Experienced with Phase I and II ESAs, Soil/groundwater sampling, PFAs, Brownfield work, Soil vapor, Risk Hazard Assessment, Vapor Barrier design experience
Good communications and reporting skills
Experience with review of due diligence reports.
Knowledge of regulatory requirement
Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
Valid State Driver’s license with clean driving record
