Adult Epileptologist (Open Rank) – Permanent Faculty – University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill – School of Medicine – North Carolina, US. Position Summary

We are seeking a full‑time Neurologist to join our Epilepsy division. Candidates will provide clinical care of patients with epilepsy, conduct teaching in neurology and epilepsy, and execute research in epilepsy, including clinical trials and translational studies. The role includes patient evaluation, management, and seizure monitoring, as well as mentorship of residents and fellows. Education & Experience

Minimum: Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) or equivalent. Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Neurology with substantial experience in epilepsy. Preference for fellowship training in clinical epilepsy, EEG monitoring, and surgical evaluation, plus additional training in evoked potentials or intraoperative monitoring. Responsibilities

Provide clinical care to patients with epilepsy, including evaluation, management, and monitoring; deliver teaching to residents, fellows, and medical students; lead or participate in epilepsy research; collaborate with multidisciplinary teams; maintain academic productivity; support faculty career development and contribute to the department’s teaching, research, and service missions.
