Job Summary

Facilitate check‑in/check‑out of photography, video, and audio equipment for SA/VS students and faculty.

Verify item condition, confirm all parts/accessories are present, and accurately record any issues.

Assist students in setting up and verifying online checkout accounts.

Enter and label new equipment into the inventory system.

Collect late fees and log transactions according to policy.

Handle basic in‑person sales (e.g., SD cards, inkjet paper) using provided tracking methods.

Maintain a clean and organized circulation desk area.

Provide friendly, respectful, and policy‑informed customer service.

Enforce Media Center rules and refer unresolved issues to the Program Facilitator.

All hired students will receive training on:

Equipment handling, checkout, and return processes

MyTurn account management

Inventory tracking and logging protocols

Basic customer service procedures

Sales and fee collection procedures

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities Familiarity with DSLR/mirrorless cameras, audio recorders, and video accessories. Experience with checkout systems. Strong communication and multitasking skills.

Preferred Education / Experience Previous experience in customer service or tech lending is a plus. Art Studio or DMDE majors preferred, but open to any.
