EHS Manager | Hart, MI
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with all relevant regulations.
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and ergonomic evaluations to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
Lead incident investigations, including root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
Design and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, fostering a strong safety culture.
Perform regular EHS audits and inspections to ensure compliance, identify deficiencies, and drive continuous improvement.
Manage environmental permits, waste management programs, and regulatory reporting requirements.
Develop and maintain emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and training.
Recommended Qualifications
5-7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
Professional EHS certification (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM, ASP)
In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations
Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and drive continuous improvement in safety culture
Bonus Qualifications
Experience implementing and maintaining EHS Management Systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Proficiency with EHS software platforms and data analytics for performance tracking.
Demonstrated experience integrating EHS initiatives with operational excellence or lean manufacturing programs.
Certified as an ISO 14001 or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor.
