EHS Manager | Mason, MI
Salary Range:

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company policies. Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures specific to manufacturing operations. Conduct regular EHS risk assessments, inspections, and audits to identify hazards and implement corrective actions. Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the implementation of preventative measures. Develop and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors. Monitor EHS performance metrics, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and equipment maintenance. Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field. 7+ years of progressive EHS experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations. Proven experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001). Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) preferred. Strong leadership, communication, training, and incident investigation skills. Bonus Qualifications
Experience implementing and maintaining ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 management systems. Proven experience applying Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen) to EHS processes. Proficiency with EHS management software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Cority, Sphera). Demonstrated ability to lead and develop site emergency response teams. Job Titles That Should Apply
