Cytoskeleton regulation and Microtubule‑Associated Proteins (MAPs) in protein condensate and aggregate formation, neurodegenerative diseases, and the maintenance of cellular homeostasis.
Tool development for medical cell biology and non‑model systems.
Cytoplasm and dark proteome.
Candidate
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Bioengineering, Biomedical Sciences, or related fields.
Expected Skills & Techniques:
Molecular cloning, protein purification, in vitro reconstitution, mammalian cell culture, mass spectrometry, instrumentation, and microscopy (TIRF, confocal).
Apply
Interested applicants should email jijumon.as@utrgv.edu with: 1. 1–3 page research statement or background summary 2. CV 3. 1–2 representative publications 4. Contact information for 2–3 references
