Job Description Summary
The Student Health Center RN provides quality care to patients and works with a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure the highest patient satisfaction; follows all safety, security, and infection control policies and procedures; and performs all tasks to ensure the safety of self, patient, and co‑workers.
Essential Functions
Provide compassionate, patient‑centered care: measure vital signs, administer medications and immunizations, conduct TB testing, prepare students for examinations, and administer allergy injections (immunotherapy). Coordinate allergy office delivery or pick‑up of antigen, triage patients over the phone and in person, advise on health care, assist with medication refills, and help with travel visits for students studying abroad or traveling for leisure.
Collaborate for comprehensive care: work with a multi‑disciplinary healthcare team, including counselors, to coordinate care that addresses both physical and mental health needs.
Maintain excellent communication: observe, chart, and report changes in patients' conditions; communicate effectively with patients and colleagues to maintain high levels of student satisfaction.
Ensure safe and high‑quality care: follow safety protocols, infection control procedures, and department standards to create a safe and healthy environment.
Engage in professional development: participate in ongoing training, meetings, and quality improvement efforts to stay at the forefront of best practices in nursing and healthcare.

Shift Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This position may require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from a school of nursing and possession of a current Missouri license as a Registered Nurse or a temporary permit to practice nursing in Missouri.
Preferred Qualifications
Participation in professional nursing organization.
Anticipated Hiring Range Range: $32.00 - $43.00 per hour, paid bi‑weekly.
GGS/PAT Level: PAT RN1. University Title: Nurse, Student Health Clinic.
