Warehouse Cherry Picker Forklift Operator
Permanent Full‑time position at Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Port Deposit, Maryland.
Base pay:
$21.50 per hour.
Shift pay:
$1.00 per hour for night shift.
Shift schedules:
Days – Wednesday 12:00 pm‑6:00 pm, Thursday‑Saturday 6:00 am‑6:00 pm; Nights – Wednesday 12:00 am‑6:00 am, Thursday‑Saturday 6:00 pm‑6:00 am.

Responsibilities:
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
Maintain accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks.
Manage day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, and similar documents.
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work within a diverse work environment.
Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a good attendance record.
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy even under pressure.
Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 35 lbs; stand for long periods.
Ability to work using health and safety methods and maintain a flexible schedule.
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
Additional requirements:
Must be comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet on a lift. Some positions require background screening, education verification, and commodity‑specific road or badging tests.
