Precision TIG/MIG Fabrication Specialist
Base pay range
$20.00/hr - $40.00/hr
What a day looks like You clock in, review a blueprint and weld symbols, and map out the sequence. You’ll move from forming plate or structural shapes to laying precise TIG or MIG beads on carbon steel, stainless, Inconel, and aluminum. Some days you’ll jump into a robotic welding cell—setting up, operating, or even programming it—to keep throughput high while holding tight tolerances. When a part arrives out‑of‑spec, you’ll straighten or reshape it, with or without heat or hydraulics, and verify it meets routed standards before it moves on.

Produce high-quality welds and fabricated assemblies from blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions.
Repair and rework parts using heat and/or hydraulic equipment to restore form and function.
Meet or exceed routed standards for quality and productivity.
