Overview The Children’s Program Coordinator will support the VISTA project focused on reducing poverty by developing and implementing a comprehensive youth program that complements parent skill‑building initiatives.
Responsibilities
Develop, improve, and manage processes for volunteers working with adults and children.
Design and implement the volunteer life cycle: planning, recruitment, training, management, retention, and recognition.
Create a comprehensive youth program that aligns with the skills parents are developing.
Research best practices, build partnerships, and create tools/templates.
Recruit and train volunteers to lead the youth program.
Gain experience in program development, recruitment, outreach, relationship management, and project management.
