Position Overview The research project will be part of a team focused on developing recombinant infectious laryngotracheitis virus (ILTV)–based vaccines using a CRISPR/Cas9 approach and infectious bronchitis virus (IBV) vaccines using a reverse genetics system.

In addition, the project aims to establish reverse genetics–based infectious clones for other poultry viruses to support vaccine design and the development of effective vaccination strategies.

The work will also involve evaluating in vivo vaccine protection and efficacy mechanisms, including animal inoculation, sample collection, data analysis, and interpretation of results.
