Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA requirements.
Implement and uphold company EHS policies, procedures, and programs to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
Lead and coordinate activities associated with EHS compliance across U.S. operations.
Develop and submit required regulatory reports and maintain environmental permits, including renewals and reapplications.
Manage all aspects of facility EHS programs, including hazard recognition, control measures, incident investigation, and proactive safety initiatives.
Conduct and lead emergency response activities, incident and near‑miss investigations, and root cause analyses.
Develop and manage initiatives supporting injury and illness case management, return‑to‑work programs, and corrective action tracking.
Interpret and apply complex environmental and safety regulations to operational practices, ensuring business continuity and compliance.
Conduct regular facility inspections and audits to identify hazards and verify compliance.
Evaluate and manage personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, use, and maintenance.
Oversee hazardous waste storage and disposal to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards.
Serve as the lead representative for environmental compliance across IES Infrastructure’s U.S. facilities, ensuring consistent implementation of the EHS Management System.
Develop and support execution of strategies, goals, standards, and training to enhance environmental and safety performance.
Drive EHS awareness throughout the organization by modeling safe behavior and fostering a proactive safety culture.
Minimum Education High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Years Of Experience 4–6 years of experience in environmental, health, and safety management.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field required.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in environmental, health, and safety management.
Strong understanding of EHS regulations and best practices, including OSHA and EPA compliance.
Proven experience implementing Environmental Management Systems such as ISO 14001.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence without direct authority.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a
