Overview

Assistant/Associate Professor of Economics. Location: MGA - Macon. Regular, Full-Time. Job ID: 292953. This tenure-track position involves teaching, scholarship, and service. Responsibilities

Teach on-campus, hybrid, dual enrollment, and/or online economics courses including Economics of Financial Literacy, Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, Managerial Economics, International Economics, Applied Data Analysis, and related business or finance courses at undergraduate and graduate (Master) levels. Maintain a strong commitment to outstanding teaching, research, and service to the profession, community, and university. Work with a diverse student body and collaborate with colleagues in the School of Business. Ten-month appointment with potential summer teaching based on demand. Teaching may include day and/or evening sessions and lower- or upper-level courses. Travel to satellite campuses (Cochran, Dublin, Warner Robins) may be required. Qualifications

Required Educational Qualifications: A PhD or equivalent in Economics or related disciplines from (preferably) an AACSB-accredited institution. Other Required Qualifications: A demonstrated record of teaching and scholarship warranting appointment at the rank of assistant professor. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Tentative start date: August 1, 2026.
