How You'll Make an Impact
Reporting to the Lead of Enterprise Imaging Access Center, Dispatcher is responsible for efficient dispatching of Imaging orders using processes that align to the Access Center's operational standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment while focusing on customer service.
What You'll Do
Ensure all orders meet minimum requirements to initiate dispatching, including communication of prep, symptom alignment with CPT codes, active facility status, accurate market/modality and staff schedule by market.
Dispatch radiology and/or ultrasound orders to appropriate technologist, routing calls efficiently to the appropriate area.
Communicate with technologists to ensure all calls have been received and appropriate turnaround time is accomplished.
Communicate with facilities/clients regarding order clarification and scheduling, initial scheduling and preparations requirements, changes to ETA timelines, ETA clarification.
Inform lead and stakeholders regarding any delays or problems that would decrease efficiency or impact on customer services.
Takes inbound phone calls regarding ETAs or other call types, as needed.
Performs other duties as necessary and requested.
What You Need Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Two years' experience in customer service or dispatching logistics
Background in imaging, preferred
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
Capable of working independently and with large groups, including customers and technicians
Familiarity with call center technology, including phone and CRM/CRT systems
Knowledge of medical terminology
