The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of manufacturing equipment and systems in a food production environment. This includes troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery. Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Ensure compliance with USDA and FDA regulations in all maintenance activities. Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment-related issues promptly. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in maintenance roles, preferably in food manufacturing or related industries. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting is a plus. Familiarity with USDA and FDA regulations regarding food safety and equipment maintenance. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Benefits
