Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and supporting production by ensuring materials and components are available and properly controlled within the plant. Minimizes inventory variance, supporting JIT manufacturing and maintaining lean inventory practices in the plant.
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, components and finished goods.
Monitor inventory levels to support production schedules and reduce excess or obsolete stock.
Lead and manage physical inventories.
Perform regular cycle counts, lead and conduct physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies on WIP, FG, raw materials and components.
Data Accuracy And Reporting
Update inventory management system with real time stock information.
Prepare and submit inventory reports, including variance analysis and inventory turnover metrics.
Identify and investigate root cause inventory discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Material Handling & Control
Support warehouse organization and layout improvements for efficiency and safety.
Educational requirements, Certifications
Associate degree in Business Management or equivalent.
Preferred APICS/CPIM certification (American Production and Inventory Control Society – Certified Production & Inventory Management).
Experience
Inventory control experience (5 years preferred stock management).
Proficient with ERP System (SAP, Oracle, etc. 5 years preferred).
Excellent attention to detail and problem‑solving skills: analyze situations, evaluate information, and make decisions.
Strong communication (written and verbal) skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Physical ability to perform inventory counts, including lifting and moving materials as needed.
Critical thinking skills: evaluate information and situations logically and objectively.
Proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
