Of course, you'll need skills – judgment, math and the ability to multitask.
Job Requirements and Duties
Responsible for everything during the shift: cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Set the example and follow all policy and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from your crew.
Additional duties: Staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, work to a schedule, perfect image and adherence to standards, great customer service, attendance & punctuality, transportation to/from work, store cleanliness, marketing, profitability.

Qualifications
Operate all equipment.
Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk‑in cooler.
Prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders.
Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
Orientation and training provided on the job.
Communication skills: understand and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills
Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid and accurate movements with speed.
Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touchscreen.
Work Conditions
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
In‑store temperatures range from 36 °F in cooler to 90 °F and above in some work areas.
Sudden changes in temperature in work area and while outside.
Fumes from food odors.
Exposure to cornmeal dust.
Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500 °F or higher.
Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing Talking and hearing on telephone. Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks. Depth perception. Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
Physical Requirements
Standing – most tasks performed from a standing position.
Walking – short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile, bricks with linoleum; work surfaces height 36–48 in.
Sitting – paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
Lifting – bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more; unloaded by hand truck; cases up to 50 lb.
Carrying – large cans (≈3 lb) etc.; pizza sauce (30 lb); trays of dough (≈12 lb).
Pushing – moving trays on dollies (24–30), force up to 7.5 lb.
Climbing – infrequently navigate stairs or ladder for maintenance.
Additional Information
Stooping/bending – forward bending at waist necessary at assembly station (30–45 s); also at front counter and stocking ingredients.
Crouching/squatting – occasionally to stock shelves and clean low areas.
Reaching – up, down and forward continuously; above 72 in to turn ovens or change signs.
Hand tasks – eye‑hand coordination essential; frequent use of hands for shaping dough, using pizza peel, cutting.
Machines, tools, equipment – pencils, computers, phones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, pizza peel.
Driving Specific Job Duties
Deliver product by car to door of customer.
Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
Access to an insured vehicle usable for delivery.
Essential Skills
Navigational skills: read map, locate addresses within delivery area.
Must navigate adverse terrain (multi‑story buildings, private homes, other delivery sites) while carrying product.
Physical Demands
Carrying – during delivery, carry pizzas and beverages while walking and climbing duties.
Driving – deliver pizzas within designated delivery area; multiple deliveries per shift.
Walking – travel between store and vehicle, then to customer.
Climbing – navigation of five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
Work Conditions (Driving)
Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving and couponing.
