Buyer II, Hybrid, Southbank
Full‑time position at Baptist Health, Baptist Medical Center. Located in Jacksonville, FL at Southbank Plaza. Work hours 8:00am–5:00pm, Monday through Friday. After 90 days of employment, opportunity for hybrid work (3 days onsite, 2 days telecommute).
Job Summary Buyer II will support a variety of projects across the Baptist Health network, providing expertise in procurement and contracting. The role requires knowledge of basic procurement processes, ability to manage multiple priorities, and maintenance of system equipment specifications.
General Responsibilities
Input capital requisitions to confirm purchases meet system standards, contracted pricing, and are correctly processed through the ERP system.
Process purchase orders and schedule deliveries.
Specify equipment for construction projects based on department needs and system standards.
Maintain system equipment specifications.
Support various system projects by performing research and data management under supervision of senior buyer.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Opportunity for hybrid work following 90 days of employment at manager discretion: 3 days onsite, 2 days telecommute.
Education Required High School Diploma / GED.
Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree.
Experience
Over 5 years of purchasing experience.
Finance experience.
Buyer experience.
Contracting experience.
License and Certification
Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) preferred.
