To this end, this position requires a commitment to creating and maintaining a culture that “Expects Recovery” and “Encourages Gentleness.” The Maintenance Worker is responsible for the maintenance of buildings and vehicles of the Agency.
Essential Functions
Patch drywall and paint
Repair or arrange for repairs of plumbing and plumbing fixtures
Evaluate vehicles for needed repairs
Snow removal
Maintain orders and keep bathrooms clean
Do minor electrical work (change light bulbs and ballast for lights)
Change filters on heating and cooling system, track chemicals for cooling and boiler system
Document preventive maintenance
Work with fire systems and sprinkler systems
Work with security systems
Do annual and semi-annual inspections on buildings and documentation
Maintain facility appearance in all aspects
Coordinate contracts as needed through Buildings and Grounds Coordinator
On call
General maintenance as assigned
Qualifications High School graduation or equivalent supplemented with training or coursework from trade schools. Diversified work experience in repairs and maintenance.
Pay $23.36/hr - $26.23/hr
