Job Role:
Leadership Support – Executive Assistant
Experience:
9‑12 years
Base Salary Range:
$125k – $155k
Location:
Hybrid, onsite Tuesday – Thursday at the EXL midtown Park Ave office
Responsibilities
Manage a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Head of Banking Capital Markets, including calendar management, expense reporting, and correspondence.
Communicate directly on behalf of the Head of BCM with internal stakeholders, external clients, board members, advisors, partners, and others.
Draft, refine, and manage executive‑level communication, including briefing notes, talking points, and presentations.
Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns—determining appropriate action or response.
Work closely with stakeholders to keep them informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
Prioritize conflicting needs and handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow‑through on projects to successful completion.
Assist with production of presentations—including PowerPoint and Excel—by transcribing, formatting, editing, and retrieving data and graphics.
Manage the leader’s complex inbox and calendar, ensuring optimal time allocation for strategic priorities, meetings, and engagements.
Oversee travel planning, logistics, and expense management to optimize efficiency.
Maintain organized records of key discussions, action items, and follow‑ups to ensure continuity in decision‑making.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience supporting SVP, C‑Level Executives, senior leaders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly.
Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, and external partners.
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate the highest level of service and response.
Demonstrated proactive problem‑solving and strong decision‑making capability.
Highly resourceful team‑player who can be effective independently.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, Oracle, ERP systems, and Concur.
