The Department of Surgery is seeking a Part Time Research Associate. The primary role will be to enhance an existing cardiac surgical video analysis pipeline by expanding anatomy recognition models to support AI-assisted surgery. Responsibilities
Maintain and augment the existing pipeline of surgical video analysis modules Develop a pipeline using Segment Anything 2 for semi-automated anatomy segmentation Aiding other module development related to AI-assisted cardiac surgery. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with deep learning projects, Pytorch familiarity preferred Currently enrolled in a graduate or PhD program preferred Other Requirements
