Accounting Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and lead ongoing process improvements. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can dig into the details while managing key accounting functions and supporting future system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities Of The Accounting Manager
Manage and approve accounts payable vouchers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and review account reconciliations and handle audit requests.
Support upcoming system implementation projects.
Assist with preparation for board meetings and year‑end reporting.
Implement process improvements to shorten the close timeline.
Oversee and execute month‑end and year‑end close processes, including heavy accruals.
Qualifications Preferred for the Accounting Manager
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month‑end close and reconciliations.
Strong understanding of accruals and financial reporting.
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience leading or contributing to process improvement initiatives.
