$105,000.00/yr - $115,000.00/yr
Accounting Manager Our client is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations and lead ongoing process improvements. This is a hands‑on role for someone who can dig into the details while managing key accounting functions and supporting future system enhancements.
Key Responsibilities Of The Accounting Manager
- Manage and approve accounts payable vouchers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and handle audit requests.
- Support upcoming system implementation projects.
- Assist with preparation for board meetings and year‑end reporting.
- Implement process improvements to shorten the close timeline.
- Oversee and execute month‑end and year‑end close processes, including heavy accruals.
Qualifications Preferred for the Accounting Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including month‑end close and reconciliations.
- Strong understanding of accruals and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience leading or contributing to process improvement initiatives.
