Job Overview
One Diversified is looking for an
AV Service Technician
to service their existing customers.
The ideal candidate is an experienced AV service technician or has 5+ years of AV installation experience and wants to transition into service.
The technician must be able to troubleshoot Crestron, Biamp, or QSC systems.
Experience with AMX, Dante, or Extron is a plus, and CTS or other AV certifications are a huge advantage.
Candidates must own basic hand tools, know how to use a multimeter, and be able to trace connection issues.
Professionalism and the ability to interface with enterprise customers are required.
Job Description
Custom Control systems: Crestron DM and NVX / AMX
Complex audio‑video systems found in executive board rooms and conference centers
Video teleconferencing equipment and systems
Audio Visual over IP (AVoIP) networks for the use of audio‑visual data over LAN, WAN, and internet
Audio DSP‑based systems to include amplifiers, speakers and microphones
Projection display devices and systems
Video wall equipment and systems
Digital signage equipment and systems
To a lesser degree: RF Systems (analog and digital)
Other Responsibilities
Conduct preventative maintenance testing
Perform site surveys related to service‑agreement quotes
Write concise service reports and/or system site surveys
Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills
Manage multiple service projects successfully
Experience
2 years minimum of AV service experience OR 5 years minimum of AV installation experience
Other Requirements
Must maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time
Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding
Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds
Must be able to work in high places, as well as small, cramped places
Must be able to work in hot, humid places, as well as cold places
