Job Overview One Diversified is looking for an AV Service Technician to service their existing customers. We are looking for an experienced AV service technician or a 5+ year AV installation technician that wants to get into service. Technicians must be able to troubleshoot Crestron and Biamp or QSC. Experience with AMX, Dante, and/or Extron is a plus. CTS and/or other AV certifications are a huge plus! Candidates must have their own basic hand tools, know how to use a multimeter and trace connection issues. Must be professional and have the ability to interface with enterprise customers.
Responsibilities
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to custom control systems (Crestron DM and NVX / AMX), complex audio visual systems found in executive board rooms and conference centers, video teleconferencing equipment and systems, Audio Visual over IP (AVoIP) networks, Audio DSP based systems, projection display devices and systems, video wall equipment and systems, digital signage equipment and systems, RF systems.
Conduct preventative maintenance testing.
Site surveys related to service agreement quotes.
Write concise service reports or system site surveys.
Excellent verbal and written skills.
Successfully manage multiple service projects.
Qualifications
2 years minimum of AV service experience OR 5 years minimum of AV installation experience.
Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Must be able to stand, kneel and/or crouch for long periods of time.
Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolding.
Must be able to lift more than 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in high places, as well as small, cramped places.
Must be able to work in hot humid places, as well as cold places.
Customer facing skills.
Dependable.
Location Dallas, TX (Remote) – This is a fully remote position. Contract based out of Dallas, TX.
Job Type Contract – Temporary.
Pay and Benefits Pay range: $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
