What You'll Do
Prepare accurate electrical cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects
Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents
Perform detailed quantity takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment
Utilize estimating software to develop competitive bids and proposals
Analyze project risks, scope changes, and cost variables
Collaborate with project managers, field leadership, and vendors
Maintain organized estimating files and historical cost data
Support bid reviews and respond to scope clarifications as needed
What You'll Need
Electrical estimating experience in commercial and/or industrial construction
Strong blueprint reading and takeoff skills
High level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and attention to detail
Proficiency with estimating software and related tools
Journeyman license preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs when required
Ability to stand for extended periods as needed
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet bid deadlines
