ON-SITE
with our client in
Newark, CA.
Interested?
Here's what you'd do:
Set up and execute structural optimizations (design space, constraints, objectives).
Interpret results and propose manufacturable solutions.
Perform subsystem and full-vehicle level optimization (stiffness, stress, mass).
Apply multi-domain and multi-material optimization strategies.
Utilize tools such as OptiStruct, NASTRAN, HyperWorks, and BetaCAE.
Collaborate cross-functionally to balance performance across attributes.
Provide design guidance during concept phases.
Performance assessed via task-based evaluations.
Here's what you'll get:
Pay:
$85.71 / hr.
Hours:
40 hrs/Week.
Length:
Contract (8 months).

Job Requirements Required Skills / Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of experience in OptiStruct/NASTRAN, Hyperworks, and BetaCAE.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
Script in Python or TCL.
Good FEA fundamentals and CAE optimization knowledge.
Enthusiastic, quick learner, problem solver, and team collaborator.
Additional Information:
Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
