Contract Management & Operations – Sandoz US – Princeton, NJ
We are seeking a highly experienced Contract Management & Operations Specialist to join our team at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters. As part of Sandoz’s global transformation, you will drive the implementation and optimization of commercial contracts and interface management across our technology platforms.
Position Location & Work Arrangement The role is based at the Princeton, NJ headquarters. A hybrid model allows employees to work up to 50% remote. Candidates who can remain local are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Contract Managers to load and maintain pricing and Managed Care agreements in Scout and Model N.
Collaborate with Chargebacks, Membership, Sales, and other stakeholders to resolve pricing and chargeback discrepancies.
Support Franchise Leads by managing daily open‑order reports.
Serve as the SCOUT subject‑matter expert for the Contracts team.
Test IT‑developed solutions in the DEV environment and monitor the SCOUT contracting interface.
Troubleshoot system issues in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders.
Lead SCOUT training for the Contracts team.
Run SCOUT‑based reports (monthly contracting activity, contract expiration, etc.).
Develop and manage Contracts Team KPIs, leveraging SCOUT data to measure contracting volume patterns.
Own the product change notification process within SCOUT, ensuring timely updates and cross‑functional communication.
Support interface management between SCOUT, Model N, SAP, and Salesforce to ensure contract data integrity and alignment.
Use advanced Excel modeling and PowerPoint to analyze contract data, prepare executive summaries, and support strategic decision‑making.
Key Capabilities & Experience
Deep knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, including wholesalers, GPOs, IDNs, and Managed Care Organizations.
Excellent collaboration skills in matrix environments, driving alignment across Market Access, Franchise, IT, Regulatory, and Membership teams.
Expertise in commercial contracting for generic and biosimilar products, including pricing structures and rebate mechanisms.
Advanced proficiency with SAP, Model N, Salesforce, and Scout contract lifecycle management platforms.
Experience with interface management, custom query development, and end‑to‑end testing of IT solutions.
Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and consensus‑building abilities.
Proficiency in advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, modeling) and PowerPoint for executive presentations.
Background in training and supporting internal teams on contracting systems.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, focused on commercial operations.
Deep understanding of key industry segments (wholesalers, GPOs, IDNs, Managed Care).
Familiarity with generic and biosimilar commercial landscape, regulatory and reimbursement dynamics.
Strong knowledge of contract terms, rebate structures, and pricing models for specialty and generic portfolios.
Proven ability to train and support internal stakeholders for system adoption.
Advanced proficiency with SAP, Model N, Salesforce, Scout, and interface management tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling) and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree required.
Benefits & Compensation Competitive salary range: $89,600 – $166,400 USD per year (subject to market and role factors). Total compensation may include sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards.
