We are looking for an experienced
HR Generalist
to support core HR functions, including recruiting, DOT compliance, leave and benefit administration, employee relations, and HR program coordination. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong employee relationships and improving the overall employee experience.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
Maintain DOT compliance, assist with driver qualification files, and testing programs.
Handle leave administration (FMLA, state leaves) and benefit administration, including enrollments and employee support.
Support HR programs such as performance management and training initiatives.
Provide employee relations support, including coaching, conflict resolution, and investigations.
Gather employee feedback and help implement engagement and culture initiatives.
Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with employment laws.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field; or equivalent experience.
2–3 years of recruiting experience.
2–3 years of experience with FMLA, leave administration, and benefit administration.
Knowledge of HR laws and best practices.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
HRIS experience preferred (Arcoro, Foundation, BSwift)
