Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of labor and employment litigation, including case strategy, discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
Communicate and negotiate effectively with opposing counsel.
Argue motions and appear in court with confidence and professionalism.
Draft and analyze complex legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Collaborate with partners and clients on a range of employment law issues and litigation strategy.
Handle class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) matters (strongly preferred).
Contribute to trial preparation and execution when applicable.
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school.
4–6 years of labor and employment litigation experience at a law firm (Class of 2019–2021).
Strong deposition experience and ability to independently manage cases.
Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills.
Class action / PAGA experience strongly preferred; trial experience preferred.
Must be an active member of the California Bar in good standing.
At the time of posting, the expected salary range for this position is $310,000 to $390,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as education, training, skill set, licensure, certifications, experience, internal equity, and market data.
