Millwork Project Manager
to join our New York City team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on landmark commercial, hospitality, and high-end residential projects with a company known for craftsmanship, precision, and uncompromising quality.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of high‑end millwork projects, including budgeting, scheduling, coordination, fabrication, and installation.
Interpret architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications to ensure technical accuracy and constructability.
Lead project meetings with clients, general contractors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, material procurement plans, and critical path milestones.
Monitor production progress and proactively address design clarifications, RFIs, change orders, and potential delays.
Ensure quality compliance through onsite inspections, mock‑ups, and coordination with fabrication teams.
Track project financials, including cost control, forecasting, billing, and contract compliance.
Oversee installation logistics and field coordination to guarantee seamless execution.
Provide leadership, communication, and problem‑solving to drive successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience in architectural millwork, high‑end interiors, or custom fabrication.
Strong understanding of materials, joinery, millwork production processes, and installation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret complex architectural and shop drawings.
Proven track record managing large‑scale commercial or luxury residential millwork projects.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and client‑facing skills.
Proficiency in project management software; AutoCAD or similar drafting experience is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, design‑driven environment.
