Garver's growing Texas Aviation team is seeking a

Project Manager

to join our multi‑discipline team. The

Project Manager

will be responsible for performing a wide array of design, planning, funding, and client management services for commercial and general air service airports in Texas, and will have the opportunity to manage the design and construction of complex, large, multi‑year projects supported by Garver's local and national staff.

Duties and responsibilities

Project management of aviation design projects related to new pavement construction, drainage improvements, utility relocation, sustainable design, and pavement rehabilitation projects.

Construction administration and oversight for aviation clients.

Collaborating and coordinating design teams consisting of multi‑discipline design engineers, planners, and technicians.

Coordination with clients, stakeholders, and funding agencies.

Provide outstanding client service.

Garver's North Houston office offers the opportunity to work alongside and be mentored by experienced aviation leaders. The

Project Manager

will also have the ability to enhance and lead the growth for this office. Garver is ranked as an Engineering News‑Record (ENR) Top 500 firm and our Aviation team has been named a Top 20 firm in the nation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.

Licensed Professional Engineer.

6‑10 years of experience in civil engineering with aviation project experience.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office software programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Working knowledge of design software packages such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Some travel may be required (approximately 10% with occasional overnight).

Preferred Skills

Project management of construction values up to +$2M.

Previous experience working with a multi‑disciplined team while overseeing project execution.

Experience in managing construction projects at airports.

Licensed pilot or other aviation‑related experience.
