Project Manager – Aviation (North Little Rock, Arkansas) For the last six decades, Garver's Aviation Team has designed projects for more than 250 aviation clients. Garver understands the complexities of airport systems—runways, roadways, facilities, and electrical systems that must work together to meet daily travel and transport needs.

Garver’s growing Arkansas aviation team is seeking a Project Manager to join our multidisciplinary team. The Project Manager will manage the design and construction of complex, multi‑year aviation projects for Commercial Air Service Airports in Arkansas, working alongside Garver’s local and national staff.

Responsibilities

Project management of aviation design projects (airside and landside) related to new pavement construction, drainage improvements, utility relocation, sustainable design, and pavement rehabilitation.

Construction administration and oversight for aviation clients.

Collaborating and coordinating design teams consisting of multi‑disciplinary engineers, planners, and technicians.

Coordination with clients, stakeholders, and funding agencies.

Providing outstanding client service.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.

Licensed Professional Engineer.

4+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably with aviation project experience.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Working knowledge of design software packages such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Some travel may be required (approximately 10% with occasional overnight).

Preferred Skills

Project management of construction values up to +$2M.

Previous experience working with a multi‑disciplinary team while overseeing project execution.

Experience managing construction projects, preferably at airports.

Licensed pilot or other aviation‑related experience.
