Business Solutions Director, Team Lead at Ledgent
We're seeking an Accounting Specialist for a growing nonprofit organization based in Culver City. This is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. The first 90 days will be onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA standards
Process and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
Handle payments (checks, credit cards, EFT) and prepare bank deposits
Assist with financial statements, monthly reports, and annual audits
Review and reconcile credit card expenditures
Post journal entries and maintain accurate ledgers and records
Ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures
Support fraud prevention and investigate discrepancies
Perform clerical tasks, data entry, and assist with billing projects
Contribute to team projects and special assignments
Qualifications
Associate degree or higher
Minimum 1 year of full-cycle Accounts Payable and Receivable experience
Background in Nonprofit, Education, or Human Services sectors
